The Party of Regions faction is not going to support alterations to the 2008 State budget unless the government presents a draft of the 2009 State budget simultaneously. It was said today during a press-conference in UNIAN by People’s Deputy, Party of Regions parliamentary faction member Inna Bogoslovska.

“Under no circumstances we are going to support alterations to the 2008 budget unless we see the simultaneously presented 2009 budget”, she said.

Inna Bogoslovska underlined that the government, which is interested in uncontrolled spending of budget funds, first of all ruins the budgetary process because, as the Party of Regions MP asserts, an unreformed budget allows to redistribute both budget funds and tax receipts manually.

In Member of Parliament’s opinion, the Cabinet of Ministers may begin to distract parliament on talks over alterations to the 2008 State budget, and as a result the country will enter into next year without budget at all.
