At the first meeting of Verkhovna Rada the Party of Regions parliamentary faction would initiate creation of the VR temporal commission of inquiry to estimate the Ukrainian authorities’ actions in the situation in Georgia, the Party of Regions Leader Viktor Yanukovych said, answering the journalists’ questions in Bucha of Kyiv region, where he participated in the First bell day in a boarding school for children-orphans.

Tomorrow we will initiate creation of the temporal commission of inquiry which would examine the state of affairs and assess the authorities’ steps on the situation in Georgia, – Viktor Yanukovych said.

It is necessary to avoid similar cases in the future, – the Party of Regions Leader mentioned. – And the commission should draw up the approaches to problem-solving under such circumstances if they appear.

"47 million Ukrainians cannot be hostages of the authorities’ hasty actions", – Viktor Yanukovych underlined.

Today it is very important to correct the situation, and put some distance not to be involved in this war. This war is not ours, we do not need it, Ukraine has no national interests in it, – Viktor Yanukovych said.
