People’s Deputy, the Party of Regions parliamentary faction Deputy Head Hanna Herman considers that despite the statements of many politicians and experts, Ukraine is not exposed to external threat in the light of Russian-Georgian conflict. There is no need to call “a wolf from the forest”, H. Herman said to “News – Ukraine” reporter, commenting on the recent events in the Caucasus and reaction to them in Ukraine.

Hanna Herman called deputies for “excluding from their rhetoric some sort of talks about a threat to Ukraine’s territorial integrity. There is no such threat and there is nothing to be said about it. It is artificially forced by the “orange”
politicians.

At the same time, People’s Deputy thinks that at the meeting of Verkhovna Rada on September 2 “the actions of our MFA should be assessed”. “Why did the ministry do so many foolish things? - she said. - It is necessary to estimate the actions of the President and voice our position regarding that Parliament should lay the framework for home and foreign policy and pass appropriate law”.

“It is inadmissible so that the Parliament, as the Party of Regions Leader Viktor Yanukovych put it, should remain a statesman in such important moments for the state”, Hanna Herman stated.
